Meet the Z & Co. Design Team

In the world of interior design, a talented team can transform a house into a home, a space into a sanctuary, and a vision into reality. At Z & Co. Design Group, we’re proud to have assembled a group of exceptional local interior designers who bring creativity, expertise, and passion to every project. In this post, we’re excited to introduce you to the amazing team behind our stunning designs.

Our Story

Founded by Heather Zamonis Eason in 2011, Z & Co. Design Group has grown to become one of North Georgia’s premier design-build firms. Our success stems from a simple yet powerful philosophy: great interiors are about how a space makes you feel, not just how it looks.

We believe in mixing styles to create modern, sophisticated, and timeless spaces that are not only aesthetically exceptional but also complement our clients’ personalities and lifestyles. This approach has earned us recognition in the industry, with features on HGTV and in publications like Atlanta Magazine, Luxe Interiors + Design, and North Georgia Living.

Our team of Atlanta interior designers is the best in the business, providing a creative, seamless, and downright enjoyable design process. Now, let’s meet the creative minds who bring this vision to life every day.

Our Team

Heather Z Eason – CEO | Principal Designer

Heather is the Founder, CEO, and Principal Designer of Z & Co. Design Group. With nearly 18 years of experience in the industry, she has cultivated a unique perspective on the importance of emotional resonance in interior design. Heather’s journey began at the age of 20 when she started working for a furniture manufacturer. Her desire to help clients more personally led her to start Z & Co., where she has transformed her vision into a thriving business.

As a busy mom of three, Heather understands the need for organized, livable spaces that don’t sacrifice beauty for function. Heather’s design philosophy emphasizes that great interiors are about how a space makes you feel rather than merely following trends. She believes in creating timeless designs that reflect her clients’ personalities and lifestyles while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Personal Design Style: My personal style leans neutral, warm, and cozy. I rarely use color in my own home. I always joke this is because I’m drenched in color all day and need to clear my palette!

Timeless Design Tip: I always say never follow trends–and I stand by that for remodels and new builds–but we’re really embracing color this year and are happy that a more traditional, less white year is in full swing. More wallpaper, more pattern, and more color! It’s been fun!

Fun Fact or Personal Interest: I’m drawn to dark, slightly moody pieces—especially in a bedroom or dining room—uniquely shaped furniture, good framed art, and great lighting. And of course, everything has to be durable (three kids make that a must!).

What You Want the World to Know: Our team has a really great dynamic, one that arguably could not be replicated. I’m so very fortunate to have such unique, driven, talented, and creative women on this team.

Lindsey Quinn – Associate Designer

Lindsey Quinn, Associate Designer for Z & Co. Design Group.
Lindsey and her husband love to travel. They also have two German Shephard fur babies, Luna & Shade.

Lindsey has been with Z & Co. for nearly 4 years. She has a passion for color and is particularly fond of Homburg Gray and Black Fox right now for creating moody vibes in spaces like mudrooms, butler’s pantries, and wet bars. Her go-to neutral colors include Greek Villa, Swiss Coffee, Accessible Beige, and Revere Pewter.

Personal Design Style: Lindsey leans towards darker and moodier vibes, with a love for chocolate brown tones. She’s embracing the color-drenching trend and wallpapering EVERYTHING.

Timeless Design Tip: Invest in lighting. I consider it the jewelry of the home, and it makes all the difference!

Fun Fact or Personal Interest: You’ll always find me on the go on the weekends! We love traveling all over and trying different food and cocktails in new cities.

What You Want the World to Know:  I love being creative every day—putting together design boards and finding amazing pieces to bring a client’s dream to life is so fulfilling, especially when we get to see everything come together at the photoshoot!

Citlally Meono – Interior Designer | Renderer

Citlally Meono, Interior Designer and Renderer for Z & Co. Design Group.
Citlally, her husband, and fur baby Toasty.

Citlally has been with Z & Co. for about 2 years and specializes in 3D Renderings and Space Planning. Her love for interior design began at a young age when her stepdad would take her along to visit his client’s remodeling projects. Over the course of her career, she has grown in style, taste, and experience thanks to amazing clients and a truly supportive team.

Personal Design Style: Citlally loves warm and earthy tones. These colors evoke a sense of comfort and warmth while being relaxing and sophisticated.

Timeless Design Tip: Always focus on functionality first. While aesthetics are important, making sure the design is practical and serves its intended purpose is crucial for long-term success.

Fun Fact or Personal Interest: I have a fur baby named Toasty, who I absolutely adore!

What You Want the World to Know: What I love most about design is the ability to create something that not only looks beautiful but also makes a real impact on people’s lives. My position allows me to connect with clients and understand their vision, translating that into tangible results.

Kirsten Houck – Junior Designer

Kirsten Houck, Junior Designer for Z & Co. Design Group.
Kirsten with her fiancé and son, Nash.

Kirsten is one of the newest additions to the Z & Co. Design team. She discovered her passion for interior design while helping her mom design her house, which led her to pursue a BFA in interior design. Her journey in the industry started in furniture, tile, and cabinetry before she joined Z & Co. as a Junior Designer.

Personal Design Style: Kirsten’s style falls between transitional and renewed traditional, with a love for warm earthy tones, especially greens and terra cottas.

Timeless Design Tip: Buy pieces that are interchangeable within your home so you can play with different layouts and ways to design your space.

Fun Fact or Personal Interest: I grew up riding and showing horses. I can also play guitar, trumpet, and a little bit of piano.

What You Want the World to Know: I love design because it sets the mood of a space and allows you to express your personality.

Victoria Zamonis – Design Assistant

Victoria Zamonis, Design Assistant at Z & Co. Design Group.
Victoria and her fiancé, Cody.

Victoria has been with Z & Co. for a year. She brings her exceptional organizational skills and experience from the healthcare field to the design world, and she plays a crucial role in our company’s behind-the-scenes operations. From prepping for installations and photo shoots, ordering products and samples, helping with procurement processes, and project management, there is no project she doesn’t have a hand in getting to the finish line. We truly couldn’t live without her!

Personal Design Style: Victoria is still figuring out her personal style. She and Cody are looking forward to furnishing their first apartment together.

Timeless Design Tip: Take your time finding pieces you really love because you don’t want to rush and end up with pieces you’ll want to replace sooner rather than later.

Fun Fact or Personal Interest: I’m Heather’s niece! I’m also getting married in December and having a blast planning for the big day!

What You Want the World to Know: My favorite thing about working at Z & Co. is working with my aunt, of course!

Our Process: From Concept to Reality

Designers standing around table, going over floor plans, fabrics, and tile/material choices.

Our custom home design services begin with understanding our clients’ dreams and needs. We brainstorm ideas, create design boards, and use 3D renderings to visualize the space before bringing it to life. Our office is a hub of creativity, filled with fabric swatches, material samples, and inspiration boards that fuel our designs.

This collaborative approach has led to numerous accomplishments, but our true measure of success is the satisfaction of our clients and the beautiful spaces we create together.
